Avery Grace Runquist was
baptised at the Deer Park United Church. Many family members were
present. Sadly missed were grandparents Tom and Adeline Kibsey, who
were really looking forward to this day but were unable to make the trip
from Winnipeg due to last minute medical complications. We know their
thoughts were with their precious granddaughter.
Poor miss Avery was sick on her
big day. She had an incredibly high fever. In spite of this, she
was a real trouper and everything went well until the minister dropped some
water on Avery's head. Avery used her strong voice to indicate her
displeasure at this soaking. Once she was back in Mom's arms,
everything was fine again.
Avery's godparents were her
dad's cousin Tara Runquist and her grand uncle Ken Runquist.
